Victorian Sub-District Cricket Association — VSDCA

Moorabbin’s senior teams compete in the Victorian Sub-District Cricket Association (VSDCA), one of Melbourne’s leading turf-cricket competitions. Established in 1908, the VSDCA is regarded as the second level of club cricket in Melbourne and includes 32 clubs from across metropolitan Victoria. It provides highly competitive cricket, quality facilities and a strong pathway for players seeking to develop and perform at an advanced level.

Moorabbin fields senior teams from the First XI through to the Fourth XI in the VSDCA Southern Region. The club also participates in the VSDCA’s junior representative pathway through its Under 15 J.G. Craig Shield program, helping talented young players progress towards senior Sub-District cricket.

Moorabbin Cricket Club’s junior teams compete in the Inner South East Cricket Association (ISEC) and the South East Cricket Association (SECA), providing players with a strong and progressive junior cricket pathway.

Inner South East Cricket Association — ISEC

ISEC is the junior competition administered by Cricket Southern Bayside, bringing together clubs from across Melbourne’s inner south-eastern and bayside suburbs. Its age-based competitions follow Cricket Australia and Cricket Victoria formats, with an emphasis on player development, participation, enjoyment and competitive cricket.

ISEC also provides older junior players with valuable opportunities to develop their skills in turf cricket and prepare for the transition into senior cricket.

South East Cricket Association — SECA

SECA is one of Victoria’s largest and most established community cricket associations, administering junior and senior competitions throughout Melbourne’s south-eastern suburbs.

Its junior competitions provide a safe, inclusive and development-focused environment for young players, progressing from introductory and modified formats through to competitive age-group cricket. SECA helps players build their skills, confidence, teamwork and enjoyment of the game at every stage of their development.

Through our participation in both ISEC and SECA, Moorabbin Cricket Club can provide junior cricketers with appropriate competition, development opportunities and a clear pathway towards senior cricket with the Saints.
